Redesigning Your Life
A 4-week journey of resilience + renewal THE DETAILS

Hey friends.
Within a matter of weeks, the world has quickly changed. And for most it was an unplanned detour. Life is rarely a straight path. Instead it is more like a winding one. One that has bumps, and potholes, and construction, and hills, and valleys, and stop lights, and turns… and sometimes U-turns. Likely, something in your life has changed since this pandemic began. Change is usually uncomfortable, because we have to adjust to something unfamiliar. And yet change is the only constant in our world. This is hard, and strange, and quite frankly a bit bizarre. But, I’ve been wondering, what if we not only got through it but came out on the other side better together? What would it be like to both acknowledge this difficult, strange time, and use it to reassess, reset, reimagine, and come out of it more resilient and with more clarity than before? What could it look like to adapt? To find our way along this unplanned detour? I want to try something new. Over 4 weeks, I want to build a cohort of people that journey together to dig deep, reflect, acknowledge the strange place we are in, build better habits, learn new coping skills, and set renewed direction. Over 4 weeks, I will share evidence-based tools of positive psychology and neuroscience to build better mental habits and mental resilience, explore meaning and purpose beyond occupational identity, and send you off ready to test and learn new ways of being in the world in small doses. I’m calling it Redesigning Your Life. If “sit and get” isn’t your thing, don’t worry. We’ll split up each session with a mix of concept-learning, discussion, and reflection. The only suggested requirement to join is that you bring a friend along on the journey, and have them sign up too. Why? Because journeys are more fun with friends. Accountability is easier with friends. You can see another lens on your life from the perspective of a friend. What’s not to gain? Wayfinding can be hard to do alone (isolation and worrying alone suck) and it can be harder without the right tools. Let’s do it together, and do it better. Life is happening. Your life is happening every second. And you have an opportunity to shape it as much as you can, as an active participant, an artist, an author. Join us. Bring a friend. Sign up below. |
